Bitcoin Beats Boris and Brexit in Google Searches

The suspension of democracy in the land of Magna Carta, a potential chaotic no deal Brexit, wranglings with Europe, and a tin pot clown diktata, have nothing on bitcoin.

That’s according to global google searches in any event that show bitcoin is a lot more interesting to people than the unelected British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, or his Brexit.

At times Brexit has been a lot more interesting this year as the drama unfolded ahead of the March 2019 deadline, but now they don’t really care much.

Likewise Boris had a little bit of attention when he took over, but now he’s even less interesting than Brexit.

While Corbyn is no where to be seen worldwide, and even in UK he is quite a bit below Boris.

Here bitcoin is not so dominant, but it’s kind of neck and neck with Boris, both at 5 out of 100. Corbyn is about half of both at 3, while Brexit of course dominates at 30.

There was in fact a time when Brexit was hugely interesting across the globe, the day of the results.

Brexit was quite a bit more interesting than even bitcoin at the height of the mania in December 2017.

Interestingly, there was a spike for Boris at that time too, but it’s all just a blip as people move on, with bitcoin up and up.

Three years on, as decision time for Brexit comes, people start paying a bit of attention again, but bitcoin continues to interest them a lot more.

In UK it’s a bit different as you’d expect. Brexit was about four times more interesting than bitcoin at its peak around the Brexit results period.

Interestingly Corbyn has some peaks prior, during and after Brexit. Boris is almost no where to be seen save for during that Brexit period, nor bitcoin except for during the craze.

But interestingly bitcoin starts to attract some continuous level of interest. While Brexit has another peak for now, and Boris takes the show for a bit.

Libdems, or variations including Jo Swinson, are apparently not very visible, so we have not included them. Presumably everyone knows their Bollocks to Brexit slogan, so they don’t need to search for them.

This “painting” above however is portraying the past. How the colors will move in the future remains to be seen as the drama begins perhaps this Saturday.

That’s when we may expect huge protests across UK against the suspension of Parliament. That may continue on Sunday, with orda, ordaaaaaa, in Parliament on Tuesday.

One week of this ancient house being prime time show will then give way to the conference season, with the finale staring on the 17th of October at the EU Summit.

Whether this can top the bitcoin show, however, remains to be seen as their twists and plots are nothing compared to the crypto lot.
