Dan sits down with Emotiq founder Joel Reymont to discuss the project, and what makes them unique.
In my research for the video, I found criticisms to be weak and lacking. Namely, this one ranks 1st or 2nd in Google for "Emotiq review" and is quite thin: https://cryptobriefing.com/emotiq-code-review-natural-smart-contracts/ ... less than 500 words.
I address that concern head on, and Joel answers it. Ultimately, the idea of using "natural language" to code smart contracts is more of a descriptor than meant literally.
Joel explains how the RingVM "sandbox" would work, and how the average person could use a GUI of sorts to move objects around, and thus build workflows that could be coded to the blockchain.
Emotiq stems from some of Joel's work on Aeternity and other blockchain projects, and looks to be one of the more promising blockchains in Q2/Q3 2018.
