XRP, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum can now be used for payments; Wirex announces the launch of prepaid cards in the U.S

Wirex, a traditional currency exchange platform and cryptocurrency wallet provider that are linked to Visa debit cards announced the launch of prepaid cards in the USA.

Wirex team tweeted:

“We will soon be launching Wirex prepaid cards in the USA! For the first time, US-based Wirex users will be able to instantly buy and convert #XRP#BTC#LTC#ETH into USD – letting you spend your digital tokens seamlessly in everyday life.”

The exchange platform has partnered with i2c Inc, a payment processing platform in this mission. i2c Inc is responsible for providing card issuers and the facilities for easier payments.

Customers from the U.S. will be able to trade and manage all their assets on a single platform. This can be achieved by buying XRP, BTC, LTC, and ETH using US dollars using the Wirex app or browser. Furthermore, the users will be able to spend their cryptocurrencies using the prepaid card. The card also provides a Cryptoback facility through which users can get 0.5% back in Bitcoin [BTC]. This facility is available on all the in-store purchases, says the Wirex team.

A cryptocurrency investor says:

“This is massive for mass adoption. Thank you wirex! I hop we can top up seemlessly and pay at the counter with fav crypto.”

Milly Millz, a day trader says:

“Wirex rocks a lot!!! Transactions are instant!”

A cryptocurrency enthusiast named Shaf says;

“For those of you in the US, I use @wirexapp and it’s really nice and simple to use.. never had any problems”

Wirex was recently in the news when they announced the expansion of their operation in Canada. The team was also awarded a Fintrac and Money Service Business registration during this time. Canadian customers can now use Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH], Litecoin [LTC] and XRP wallets at low fees.
