Tron [TRX] releases its weekly technical and community development report

On 20th August, Justin Sun, the CEO and Founder of the Tron Foundation posted the Tron’s weekly report on Twitter.  The report outlined the progress the foundation had made over the week which included the technical development, community activities as well as team and partner changes.

Work completed

Changes have been made to the structure of the Tron Virtual Machine [TVM] ecosystem with the addition of transfer security assurance within contracts. Tron has decided to delegate its resources in a way that is acceptable to everyone within the Tron ecosystem. The foundation’s node scoring mechanism has been optimized and a node transmission flow has been added to it as scoring criteria.

Work in progress

The CPU value of each instruction in the TVM’s ecosystem is in the process of being optimized to improve performance. With regards to the TCP connection attack, Tron is developing a course of action to prevent the occupancy of connections by malicious nodes. The foundation is additionally making changes to the design account system in the wallet.

Community Activities

On 13th August, Tron held an emoji contest titled ‘Tell a story about Tron with emojis’ to encourage user engagement on social media platforms. Followers from various parts of the world were invited to participate in designing emojis related to Tron.

On 17th August, the Foundation released the Dutch version of the Tron weekly report for the first time.  Tron also announced the rewards of the Github contributors for July.

Team and Partners

On 11th August, the foundation launched a feature on Tron Block Explorer referred to as the ‘Click to View Foundation Freeze Addresses’. Tron also announced that they would be completing the acquisition of the domain name ‘Blockchain.org’.

On 12th August, as part of the Tron ecosystem, Tron Alliance will run for the Tron Super Representative. The step was taken to assist the foundation in applying Tron blockchain solutions in enterprise services.

On 13th August, BitKap announced the completion of the Tron MainNet migration on its official website. It has also resumed deposits and withdrawals of TRX and Tron MainNet.
