Tron [TRX] announces BitDogSR as SR candidate, member count rises to 66

On 14th August, Justin Sun, the Co-Founder of Tron Foundation, announced that BitDogSR will be running for the Tron super node.

BitDogSR came into the picture when it supported Tron during its inception days. BitDogSR aims to spread the Tron philosophy and assist the Tron community in any issues or governance ordeals. The company has also been in the news for promoting Tron’s ideals and regulations through video uploads and network activities that it conducts on its platform.

Justin Sun had tweeted:

“BitDogSr will run for #TRONSR, BitDogSr originated and matured in the #TRON community. As an early supporter of #TRON and KOL of the #TRON community. They aim to spread #TRON’s philosophy and influence across the community. #TRX $TRX”

The Tron super node, according to the foundation, is hosted on different servers, barmetal and cloud platform. The company has also stated that the code script made by the Tron developer team will check the creation server and the switch for any failure or mishap. The switch is responsible for network channeling that allows for decisions to be carried out on the network.

BitDogSR has also announced that they are running for the Tron Super Representative position. If selected, the platform will become the 66th member in the Tron Super Representative community.

As an SR member of the Tron Foundation, they will have a major role in the future governance structure of the firm and will mainly represent the will of the people. The Super Representatives will act as guardians of the Tron network and actively participate in the calculation and validation of the network.

The entire process of the candidacy for the Tron Super Representative is democratic, with the ultimate goal to ensure proper governance of the network. According to reports, this is the fourth entry into the Super Representative list over a period of 10 days, with HUOBI global being the last entrant.

The Tron Foundation was also in the news for conducting its first-ever global all-hands meeting, where all the members from Beijing, as well as San Francisco, attended the meeting. The Foundation stated that the Tron family has grown from 108 members to 300 members. They have stated that this will allow Tron to surpass Ethereum.
