Stellar Lumens [XLM] pairings introduced by Polish cryptocurrency exchange BitBay

Polish cryptocurrency exchange, BitBay, on January 29, announced that it has introduced Stellar [XLM] trading for four currency pairs namely, the US Dollar, the Euro, Polish Zlotys and Bitcoin. In other words, users of BitBay’s platform will be able to buy or sell XLM for any of the listed tradable currencies. More notably, there is a 0% maker fee of any crypto-crypto trading pairs.

Launched in 2014, BitBay was meant to fill the need for a solid cryptocurrency exchange platform in the Polish cyberspace. The exchange, that began with trading just Bitcoins and Litecoins will now be trading Stellar Lumens, the world’s ninth largest cryptocurrency, with a market cap of over $2 billion. It’s a development that is a step forward as Stellar is one of the fastest platforms around with a processing speed of over 1,000 per minute, as against the 25 Ethereum is capable of. This speed is key to Stellar’s goal to sustain a network of banks, consumers and payment operators that can allow for faster, affordable money transfers.

Stellar Lumens is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrencies and its potential is being realized by many in the cryptosphere including IBM and many other companies, who have begun collaborating with it.

Apart from Stellar, BitBay will also begin to trade two other coins namely, XBX and BCP. XBX, also known as Bitex Global XBX coin is a utility token created to make use of the Bitex ecosystem and ensure secure banking and payment services. The XBX will be traded with Bitcoin at BitBay.

On the other hand, BCP is a utility token native to Poland alone and crucial to its development in the cryptosphere. It will be part of the Blockchain Poland platform where the coin will be used as a means of payment.
