Cardano [ADA]’s Charles Hoskinson says that he would like to see the Foundation invest heavily in Japan

Charles Hoskinson, the CEO and Founder of IOHK, recently spoke about what he would like to see the Cardano Foundation do from now on, on his Youtube channel.

He stated that IOHK and Emurgo could work together again after a month or two, Hoskinson said that he has his own personal wish list and that he would like to see it come true. This includes more democracy, at least seven board members at the Foundation. He further added:

“I’d like a very skilled and prominent executive director who has the faith and calmness of the community. I’d like to see diversity and community management with large grants and the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars be given to many different organizations that are responsible for building Cardano communities across the globe.”

Hoskinson further stated that he would like to see the Foundation invest “heavily” in Japan. He wished this in order to endure that ADA gets proper representation in that jurisdiction. He said:

“[…] because it frankly never really has the way it deserves given that we have such a strong a great community there. But, anyway this is all going to come at some point in the future and we now have a great community holding the Foundation accountable and its restructuring and in its path forward”

The Founder also said that he was in Switzerland monitoring the situation on the ground. He added that he had an opportunity to meet Pascal and have numerous discussions with regulators, crypto valley and various power interests. Hoskinson stated that he was optimistic about finding a way to clean up everything, which would keep the community happy.

He further said:

“That will give Cardano the best chance to move forward. It is also important to point out that in Parsons leaving, there was no severance paid and no exchange of funds. He left of his own will and resigned with no strings attached. So it’s nice to know that he did the right thing and it’s nice to know that we kept our integrity and principles as an ecosystem.”

Nonetheless, Hoskinson expressed his disappointment in the time it took for things to fall in place. He stated that Cardano did not deserve this and that he is “glad” that this chapter is now closed. He further expressed his gratitude to the community for coming together for the same cause and for caring “so deeply” about the project.
