Bitcoin surges by almost 3% in an hour, Ethereum and Litecoin follow suit
The cryptocurrency market saw the prices of most cryptocurrencies surge after Bitcoin [BTC] posted significant gains after days of bearish movement. The coins that followed the king coin were Litecoin [LTC] and Ethereum [ETH].
Bitcoin [BTC]
At press time, BTC was soaring by 2.99% within the hour and was priced at $11,503.48. The market cap of the coin was reported to be $204.700 billion as the 24-hour trading volume was noted to be $32.697 billion. Over the past seven days, the coin fell by 6.77%. However, it had managed to report 16.46% growth over the day, at press time.
Ethereum [ETH]
At press time, ETH was soaring by 3.47% in an hour, pushing up the price of the coin to $300.12. It had a market cap of $32.036 billion. The 24-hour trading volume of the coin was noted to be $10.828 billion, as it fell by 8.51% over the past week. However, over the day, the coin noted a growth of 8.25%.
Litecoin [LTC]
LTC joined the league of surging coins, rising by 3.26% within the hour. It was valued at $123.29 with a market cap of $7.705 billion. The 24-hour trading volume of the coin was reported to be $4.003 billion, as it noted a fall of 9.02% over the week. Over the past 24 hours, LTC noted a growth of 7.52% and continued to march forward.
