Bitcoin Cash [BCH] to be the base currency for Roger Ver’s proposed cryptocurrency exchange

Roger Ver, the CEO of Bitcoin.com and a Bitcoin Cash maximalist spoke about his intention on buying or developing a cryptocurrency exchange, during an interview in Malta.

Ver stated that he was looking forward to forming a new partnership in order to build his own cryptocurrency exchange. He said that he wanted to “build one internally”, which would be very cost-effective and would be based on their requirements. The CEO added:

“But we don’t have the security of a battle-tested exchange that’s been around for a while”

Roger further stated that he would be using Bitcoin Cash [BCH] as the base currency for the exchange platform in order to increase the adoption of BCH.

According to the report on Bloomberg, Roger is expecting to use the traffic of his website, which provided services ranging from cryptocurrency news and other wallet operations to promote the exchange platform. He stated that the new exchange, “will be posted on Bitcoin.com so we’ll have thousands or tens of thousands of new users every single day”.

However, Alexa’s recent data, Bitcoin.com had been losing its appeal in the second half of the year in comparison to the first half.

SleepingKernal a cryptocurrency evangelist stated:

“Big if it happens but it would change things… Roger would have to no longer be all about Bitcoin Cash. No doubt being the base pair would be good for BCH, just saying it changes things”

SninceWay 4 posted on Reddit:

“The government has the “Midas touch” of garbage, they took a perfectly good service like shapeshift and turned it into crap. We basically need something that they can’t touch, ever again. Something with deep liquidity, real privacy, and completely out of their reach”

In a recent post, Roger Ver and the COO of Bitcoin.com, Mate Tokay spoke about the Major League Triathlon which was a sporting event where the winner would be given the prize money in the form of Bitcoin Cash [BCH]. They added that the winner would directly get the BCH prize money transferred to their respective wallets on the day of the tournament.
