VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) for low timeframe analysis

VWAP is a usefull indicator for low timeframe trend analysis. It is most useful on one to five minute charts. It resets each new trading day and smooths out over the session... it is calculated using the volume multiplied by the price averaged over the length of the session. So it gets smoother as the session continues, as each tick takes more date into consideration.

As the session goes on, you can judge support and resistance and distance from the mean using VWAP. I've found it useful in conjunction with other tools, like RSI based divergence.

I've been using VWAP a bit on low timeframe trading of stocks and commodities when on margin, and sometimes on low timeframe crypto trades.
