Crypto Safety - How To Store Cryptocurrency On Paper and Hardware Wallets (Trezor, Nano S)

Get your cryptocurrencies off exchanges!

Whether you are new to investing in crypto or not, you should always take maximum precautions when buying, selling, storing and logging in to exchanges.

Here are my golden rules:

1 - never store crypto currency on an exchange. Always back it up on a hardware wallet, paper wallet or desktop/web wallet. Exchanges can (and do) get hacked, shut down, investigated etc.

2 - Enable 2FA (two factor authentication) on all your exchanges, and your email and social media accounts

3 - Never log into any crypto exchanges or wallets from your phone, phones are vunerable to hacks

4 - Never store your passwords, keyphrases or seed keys online or in any digital format

Be safe!

Cryptocurrency is vunerable to hacks and malfunction, so the very least you can do is apply these 4 steps to keep it as safe as possible.
