Revaloot | Introduction        We are excited to announce Revaloot, a new cryptocurrency ecosystem. Revaloot is a multifaceted blockchain platform that aims to revolutionize today's git platforms by directly rewarding developers for the content they create. Before YouTube allowed it’s creators to monetize their videos, it was difficult to make a living off of creating viral videos. There were creators who made videos simply because they loved it, and those who created to help catapult themselves into a career. Open source code is very much pre-monetization YouTube era. Those who open source their code do so because they are told they need it for their resume, want to help propel themselves to a freelance career, or simply do it for the love of code. There are few who can actually find sponsorships and make a living off of their code. The goal of Revaloot is to change that. We want to take the ideas behind what Steemit and YouTube did for content creation and apply those to open source software. Bitcoin/Crown Co-Fork        We have chosen to start our project by co-forking Crown and Bitcoin, and have done this for a multitude of reasons.  For every CRW and BTC address a LOOT address will be created with a 1:1 ratio for both CRW:LOOT and BTC:LOOT. Crown was chosen because many of the concepts for the underlying platform architecture originated with that project.  Bitcoin was chosen for two main reasons; security and initial distribution.  As an open source platform we want to incentivize as wide an adoption as possible.  Therefore it only seemed natural to award the cryptocurrency pioneers by including holders of BTC in the initial airdrop of our token.  The security provided by the encryption of the BTC blockchain will also be leveraged to protect the platform from any number of malicious attacks. Pre-fork Timeline

The Revaloot snapshot of Bitcoin and Crown will occur on August 13th. The Bitcoin Snapshot will occur on block 536088 The block on which the Crown snapshot will occur will be announced as we get closer to August 13th. We plan to have a live testnet by July 16th. This will include a wallet and faucet that can be used by the community. WP V1.0 to be released soon
