Litecoin [LTC] overtakes EOS to become fourth largest coin after tough tussle

As the bear and bull carried on their tussle to capture the market, Litecoin [LTC] overtook the fourth largest coin, EOS. EOS and LTC were sparring for the fourth position on CoinMarketCap, and after EOS’s considerably long stay on the fourth spot, LTC finally managed to replace it.

At press time, LTC was valued at $56.46 with a market cap of $3.43 billion. The token recorded a 24-hour trading volume of $2 billion, while noting a spike of 1.55% over the past day. The token noted a seven-day spike of 22.06% and was still growing by 0.96% on the one-hour chart.

LTC was highly traded on Coinall exchange as it noted a volume of $155 million with the LTC/BTC pair. Coinall was followed by DigiFinex with a volume of $149 million with the LTC/BTC pair. The third place was taken by Coineal with the LTC/BTC pair and noted a trading volume of $120 million.

EOS

EOS was valued at $3.78 with a market cap of $3.42 billion. The trading volume noted by the token was $1.6 billion. The token noted a growth of 0.12% over the past day and hiked by 5.83% over the week. The coin was going head-to-head with LTC and noted a growth of 0.47% over the past day.

The exchange to note the highest trading volume was OKEx with the EOS/USDT pair. The exchange noted a volume of $134 million, followed by Bibox exchange with a volume of $119 million on the EOS/ETH pair. ZB.COM followed the first two with a volume of $92 million via the EOS/USDT trading pair.
