Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao wants to be the “guy who helped the world adopt cryptocurrency”

Recently, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, popularly known as CZ, spoke about his perspective on the cryptocurrency space, during a discussion with Ran Neu-Ner, the CEO of Onchain Capital.

During the discussion, Ran Neu-Ner asked CZ about what he wanted to achieve or how he wants to be remembered in the future. To this, CZ said that he wants to be the “guy who helped the world adopt crypto” and be remembered as “CZ, helped a little bit.”

CZ stated that cryptocurrencies are very important to him as it gives people a sense of “increased freedom”.  According to him, every time there was an increase in freedom, the world changed for the better and that history of humankind is the best example for it. He further added that the increase in freedom results in the betterment of people’s lives.

He said:

“The mass gets better, like the freedom of slavery, the press, freedom of speech, freedom of knowledge, data, internet.”

In addition, the CEO believes the cryptocurrency world is witnessing a freedom of investment, a freedom of transaction, and a freedom of money at present. The CEO concluded the discussion by saying that he wants to help people further by contributing to the adoption of cryptocurrency.

Moreover, the exchange platform launched an incubator program in order to promote the growth of blockchain startups. The platform is going to provide the best resources available to these blockchain startups as a part of the program. The main aim of this program is to bring about a significant change to the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.

Recently, CZ said the cryptocurrency space is going to definitely grow by more than 1000x in reply to the statement made by Vitalik Buterin, the Co-Founder of Ethereum. Vitalik said that the price of cryptocurrencies is not going see a 1000x increase.
