IOTA [MIOTA] Trinity Wallet’s desktop beta to be released soon

IOTA [MIOTA], a renowned distributed ledger technology-based platform, said on their official Twitter that their latest project, Trinity Desktop Beta is in its final stages of release. IOTA has been constantly updating the Trinity Wallet ever since its initial beta release 2 months ago. The latest update of the wallet was the Trinity Wallet 0.4.0 which was released on 21st July.

Since Trinity is IOTA’s official wallet, the IOTA team is looking to standardize several of its features to be used all through the IOTA network. The team has further ascertained that to standardize a certain feature, one must spend a considerable amount of time in investigating all the likely possibilities in finding the most probable solution.

To that order, the team has stated that since they comprise of a brilliant set of developers, many of the features that have been planned for Trinity has been painstakingly measured by the community and all that remains is the implementation.

In a statement made on their official Medium blog, the organization declared that about 500 alpha testers have been meticulously testing the wallet to guarantee that it is ready for public utilization. All efforts have been directed to ensuring the removal of lingering bugs, setting up the deployment surroundings and code signings, stated company officials. Code signings refers to the process of digitally signing scripts to verify the software writer and ensure that the code has not been corrupted since it was signed.

The company claims that the alpha testers are in the process of ensuring that the Trinity Desktop Beta has continuous integration, a development practice where software developers incorporate code into a shared repository, numerous times in a day. In addition, the final UI refinements of the wallet are underway. Both the mobile and desktop versions of the wallet have been said to have gone through significant design improvements.
