Ontology joins SlowMist bug bounty program, announces Tokyo launch events

Ontology has joined forces with Chinese blockchain ecosystem security consultants, SlowMist, who have announced a bug bounty program to award hackers for discovering and disclosing security issues on the Ontology platform. Rewards will be paid in Ontology Gas (ONG) and SlowMist Zone (SLOWMIST) tokens.

The tiered rewards system starts at 320 ONG and 32 SLOWMIST for reporting benign vulnerabilities, and ranges up to 6,400 ONG and 512 SLOWMIST for reporting critical vulnerabilities, such as unauthorized internal network access, backend superuser access, or smart contract overflow exploits.

More information on the reporting standards and timeframe of the Ontology bounties are available at the SlowMist website.

The event is closed to the public, but will be followed by a free, ticketed public launch event on Saturday, August 25th. An ONG airdrop will be available for attendees who provide their ONT ID and wallet address at the venue.
