Blockchain Venture Capital Firm Krypton Capital Moving Headquarters to Malta

Krypton Capital, an early stage venture capital firm focused on blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, has decided to move its headquarters from Kiev, Ukraine to Malta.

Founded in 2007 by Ilan Tzorya, Krypton Capital has created an ecosystem where ventures complement each other and increase the value of their partners, bringing success to the group as a whole. The company has an extensive investment portfolio with assets across a variety of industries, including media, software development, financial services and crypto and blockchain related companies.

With its headquarters originally in Kiev, Krypton Capital has grown into a robust multinational company with vast experience in the blockchain space, having invested in several upcoming crypto ventures.

Now the company’s leadership is seeking further expansion opportunities and access to new markets and has decided to maintain a smaller presence in Ukraine and shift it’s headquarters to Malta, which recently passed three bills to facilitate the blockchain industry.

In the coming weeks, Krypton Capital’s key executives will be traveling to Malta to set up new offices for the relocation.

The Founder and CEO of Krypton Capital, Ilan Tzorya, told Cryptovest:

"Malta is regarded as an ideal destination for blockchain and crypto related companies due to its beneficial regulatory environment that supports innovation and blockchain technology development. The country has set the goal to become a blockchain capital and a global cryptocurrency industry standard-setter, which makes it a perfect place for Krypton Capital’s headquarters."

The three bills passed last month include the Malta Digital Innovation Authority Act, the Innovative Technological Arrangement, and Services Act and the Virtual Financial Asset Act, which will lay the ground for comprehensive cryptocurrencies and blockchain regulation and help turn Malta into a crypto and blockchain hub.
