Tron hits a home run in the DApp game, beating EOS and ETH in weekly trading volume

The grass is greener on Tron’s side due to the series of successful events the network witnessed from the time it entered the DApp game.

Justin Sun, founder and CEO of the Tron Foundation shared a DApp review report on Twitter with the community, suggesting that Tron had surpassed the sum of the volume of ETH and EOS combined. His tweet read,

“According to @dapp_review, #TRON #Dapp volume on July 21 reached $67,944,673.82 which already surpassed the sum of #ETH($5,583,074.11) and #EOS($11,030,606.39).” – Justin Sun (@justinsuntron  July 22, 2019

According to the recent DApp review, Tron beat its competitors ETH and EOS in the seven-day volume category recording a volume of USD 146,384,656.09. At press time, ETH and EOS lagged far behind Tron reporting a seven-day volume of only USD 81,747,478.75 and USD 70,071,008.78, respectively.

Regardless of the high volume reported by Tron, EOS dwarfed Tron and ETH in other variants like daily active users and transaction volume. As per DApp review, EOS reported a total number of 30,657,433 transactions in seven days, whereas Tron recorded only 5,761,028 transactions and ETH was substantially behind with just 451,676 transactions in seven days.

Despite having about 1,867 DApps in its network, ETH recorded only 123,327 daily active users. On the other hand, at press time EOS had about 593 DApps in its network but recorded 852,359 daily active users and Tron which is fairly new to the DApp game recorded 334,447 daily active users with 534 DApps in the network.
