The Ethereum foundation team has gathered enormous responses where participants have requested for the Grants program to have increased transparency in its processes. The feedback also includes requesting the team in considering in detail the several kinds of projects that could be taken up.

In the current wave 3 round of the EF program, the team has attempted to perfect their internal processes to guarantee that the funds are disbursed in a timely manner. The team also hopes to award grants to applicants on a rolling basis thereby bringing about prompt backing to teams and projects spearheading the cause of transparency and decentralization.

The Wave 3 finalists were announced on the Ethereum Foundation’s official blog. Three winners were chosen for each category namely, Scalability, Security, Usability, Education, and Hackternips.

The EF team has affirmed that although the focus of the EF grants is on Scalability, the team would wish to fund other critical work in the future.
